PROGRAMS

The programs of Crux Art Foundation are developed as research environments rather than exhibition presentations. Each project is conceived as a situation in which a sustained encounter between viewers and painting can take place. Instead of treating exhibitions as events, the foundation approaches them as conditions for attention, allowing works to be experienced over time rather than consumed within a single visit.

Through exhibitions, recorded conversations, and long-term observation of artistic practice, the foundation studies how viewers perceive the presence of a work and how this experience continues beyond the moment of viewing. Programs therefore function not only as public activities but also as part of an ongoing inquiry into artistic endurance and the relation between painting and human experience.

The exhibitions presented within these programs often focus on a single body of work in order to allow concentrated viewing. Rather than presenting a survey of multiple artists, the foundation prioritizes depth of encounter, providing viewers the opportunity to return, reflect, and re-encounter the works across time.
